Clubbing of the nails can be due to many causes. When it is associated with low oxygen saturation it can be due to a lung or heart condition. On the other hand , these two can be unrelated , being caused by different causes. Simple bronchitis is unlikely to cause clubbing. There can be other associated condition like chronic infection, fibrosis etc. Please read this link for detail about the causes.
