Hello.

RDW is red blood cell distribution width.
This test is a measurement of the variability of red blood cell size.
Also the higher numbers indicate greater variation in size.

Normal reference range in human red blood cells is 11 - 15.
A high RDW (over 14.5%) means that the red blood cells vary a lot in size. High RDW can occur in too little vitamin B12 or folic acid, liver disease and iron deficiency anemia.

You will be requiring - Liver function test, Vitamin B- 12 levels check , and accordingly you will be managed.
Take care..
