Thanks for your question.
This may or may not be related to daily wine drinking.
Wine or alcohol can cause toxic effects on the nerves ( tingling & numbness are nerve symptoms) directly or by causing vitamin deficiencies ( thiamine and vitamin B12).
Another possibility is nerve entrapment. If you have nerve impingement at your neck ( cervical spine), shoulder or wrist, you will get these symptoms.
You can consider quitting drinking & see if your symptoms improve.
Take vitamin supplements daily.
Try to rest your arm & hand as much as possible to promote nerve healing.
You should see your doctor for a clinical evaluation.
How long you have these symptoms?
If you have closing of throat, this may be an allergic reaction also.
If you have breathing difficulty, then you should go to the hospital for urgent care.
You should better avoid alcohol for now.
Alcohol can cause numbness & tingling.
Please don't be scared.
If you do not have any breathing difficulty, then try to relax.
The symptoms should improve over time.
If not, then you should go to the hospital.
These may be from anxiety or dehydration, since they started only 6 hours ago.
Drink plenty of fluids ( Gatorade) & relax.
They should get better over time.
It is very important you stay away from alcohol.
Take a multivitamin capsule daily.
Alcohol causes nerve damage.
If you do not stop alcohol, it will not go away, but may get even worse.
If you stop alcohol, this should get better within a week or so.
To encounter alcohol withdrawal, there are several medications available.
Clonidine is one such medication which helps to slow down heart race & control anxiety.
Librium is another medication which can be used under your doctor's supervision.
