I had a heart attack on may 26 2010 and a stent put in my lad so the doctor put me on this lopressor and plavix but i am weak light headed and luppy feeling and my muscles seem to get sore at nothing ..

yes i can check my bp and my orignal dose was 25mg twice aday then they cut it in half

Your doctor wants you on the beta blocker type of medication because certain beta blockers can improve long term survival.
There are other beta blockers that some people are able to better tolerate. Carvedilol may be one that you do better with.
It does come in a generic form as well.

It can also cause dizziness and fatigue as well as weakness. But it may be worth a try as long as your blood pressure is not too low.
