my right testicle hurts periodically, only when i am sitting

Resolved Question:

my right testicle hurts periodically, only when i am sitting down usually. it is not super painful, but it is annoying and nothing "appears" to be wrong. I do frequent checks for lumps and such. I am 25 years old. any thoughts?

Get checked for a hernia, which should refer pain, an inguinal hernia.
Have an expert feel it, a urologist, you don't want to miss anything.
This certainly could be nothing, but best to be safe.

what is an inguinal hernia? I do play soccer - could that be a cause (sports hernia)?

Also, if it does turn out to be "nothing" how do i fix the pain?
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 6 years ago.
Nothing serious, that is, although a hernia would need to be followed, and or fixed.
A prostate problem could refer pain....important that this possibility gets examined because if you have prostate causes this might be treated. This is most likely not pain you should just think you have to live with.
