No it was a shrap burning pinpoint pain as if someone drive a nail into skull and it woke me out of sleep then the meatl taste in mouth last for about 10 min I got up walked around feeling strange but no longer in pain had a strange feeling of doom all that is had gone by the time I was to get up

Well its difficult to say what might have caused such symptoms but I would still suggest you visit your doctor and rule out any possibility of a transient ischemic attack...

Also ask you doctor to test you for hypertension, get an ECG done and a carotid doppler if required...
