Do you have pain in the wrist or forearm? Does it wake you up at night?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
No pain in wrist or forearm. Does not awaken me at night. Numbness lasts about a day, goes away, then returns another day. The numbness varies in intensity during the day when it does occur.

I can give you some ideas, but you will need to see your doctor. The middle finger numbness could be from carpal tunnel syndrome. Another possiblity is a pinched nerve, C7 up in the neck. The exam is important is differentiating between the two conditions. Also a nerve conduction/EMG study can better isolate which nerve is involved.
Treatment depends on what diagnosis is found.
