On my thighs. There is little swelling. Restless leg syndromn

If these lumps are sort of like little bags of worms they could be varicose veins.
Swelling from extensive bad veins usually is worse the lower you go in the leg, but varicose veins can occur anywhere.
If the swelling dents when you press on it it could be from bad veins or from other conditions such as heart or kidney problems.
Varicose veins per se can be diagnosed on inspection by your doctor.
The test to look at the venous system in the legs and to rule out clots is called a lower extremity doppler test. This would tell you what you need to know.
Good Luck

What about the pulling feeling in my legs could this be part of it?
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 7 years ago.
If there is edema this could account for that.
Lower spine problems or another structural issues as well.

I don't understand what is edema? What does another structural issue mean?
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 7 years ago.
Edema would be the swelling caused by the venous stasis or bad veins.
A pulling sensation in the legs could also be from problems in the pelvis but this sounds less likely. A simple x ray of the lumbar/sacral spine would show if thins look normal.
The pulling sensation can also be part of restless leg syndrome and is described along with other sensations such as tickling, prickling, etc.
Probably, if you have swelling, the doppler studies are your best bet at this point.
