Can you stop breathing and die from this?
Expert:  Dr.tiwari replied 6 years ago.
God makes our body in a way that it can co ordinate with various functions. When we drink water then at the time the epiglottis structure does block the way of the air passages for a while .You may see it in routine life .You can not drink for a long time you have to stop in between to take the breath. When at the time our brain does need oxygen then we have to stop & take breath & drink again. So do not bother in absence of any organic disease this is just a fear, just relax your self & keep enjoying.

Hope this will help you.
