Would testosterone cream or patch be helpful. ( my estrogen level was appropriate, however my current Internist, fresh out of Med School with no experience with male menopause, nor with men over 60 wants me to take a drug to block estrogen attachement sites to allow testerone to attach. I fear, this may create 2 problems: , low estrogen at best marginal testosterone). If the estrogen level is normal, why monkey with it?

I'd usually prescribe a testosterone patch or gel myself....

These are well tolerated , effective and not too expensive.

I think that you need to "persuade" your own MD to come round to your point of view!
