Welcome to Just Answer
I am sorry to hear about your condition.

1-Since when you have got these symptoms?
2-Do you have any medical condition diagnosed?
3-Do your muscles/some areas tender to touch(Increased pain on pressure?)
4-Any depression?stress in life?
5-Do you have numbness?weakness?

Thanks.
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

I have the sysmptoms for 5 Months.

I suffer from blood Pressure and am taking Coversil 5mg

My tendons across my shoulders feel sore. My elbows and fingers are sore but not swollen.

I am self employed and had a bout of stress at the time of this flare up.

My lower limbs feel week at times, it seems to emanate from my muscles in my lower back.

Thanks for the detailed input.

Here are some possibilities..

1-The presence of leg and back symptoms can be due to nerve compression, but as you stated you had normal MRI,this is somewhat satisfactory.
Nerve conduction studies and Electromyelography are also helpful in making the diagnosis.
In case all of the above are normal, vascular origin should be worked up,High blood pressure/smoking can be associated with Leg cramps/weakness more pronounced on walking so Doppler ultrasound of legs is helpful to rule out this entity.

2-The presence of generalized body aches along with some bouts of stress need a detailed work up and conditions like polymyositis should be considered and in case all the tests are normal, Fibromyalgia can be the cause of your symptoms

The treatment of these pains is variable starting from NSAIDs like advil, motrin to some anti seizure drugs, pregabalin are of extreme help.
If the diagnosis of fibromyalgia is confirmed, tender point injections of steroids are also sometimes prescribed.

I hope the info helps
