Hello,welcome to just answer and thank you for your question.

The pain could be a small kidney or ureteric stone, irritation of spinal nerves either due to a disc lesion or due to bony osteophytes compressing the spinal nerves,muscle cramp etc.

You can take an OTC advil or motrin to get relief from the pain and if the pain does not subside, you can do an ultrasound of the lower abdomen to see if there is a small ureteric stone etc.
