Do you have any vaginal discharge?
sometimes but not all the time
This is likely to be vaginitis. A vaginal swab is the required to identify the organisms. The swab also tells about the best antibiotic which would be effective against the causative organisms. If you are exposed to unprotected sex, it would be prudent to get a STD profile done from your local STD clinic. Following further measures would also be beneficial;
1) Eating live bacterial culture yogurt every day for a few weeks and take acidophilus tablets three times a day for one month.
2) Do not have to use the Acigel while menstruating.
3) Do not use tampons until the treatments end.
4) Wear loose, all cotton underwear they absorbs body moisture.5) Wipe front to back when you urinate or have a bowel movement. Bowel bacteria can infect vagina6) Use tampons instead of sanitary pads. 7) Natural cotton pads that you launder in hypo allergenic detergent are best to use. 8) Do not shave the vulvar area as the pubic hair protects against chemicals making contact with the skin. 9) Avoid all chemicals in the Vulvo vaginal area.10) Avoid pantyhose and tight pants such as jeans which trap moisture near in the perineum 11) Follow a low carbohydrate diet.12) No vaginal douches.
