What can I do to reduce sweating My head and body will start

Resolved Question:

What can I do to reduce sweating?
My head and body will start to sweat with moderate activity, even at cooler temperatures.
When it gets above 80 degrees, I will become soaked if I start moving around.
Is there anything I can do?

The only other symptom is that I tend to get bad headaches after being out the heat all day.

This has been a long term problem.

You are having HYPERHIDROSIS--the medical name of excessive sweating.

A number of neurologic, metabolic, and other systemic diseases can cause excessive sweating, however, majority of cases occur in people who are healthy otherwise.

It can easliy affect you on social, functional and emotional level.

In my opinion you need to have a detailed examination and consultation by your physician to look for possiblities of any underlying disorder causing you excessive sweating( althogh it seems very unlikel in your case, but still there might be a possiblity).

Variety of treatment options are available on prescription, including oral drugs,Botulinum toxin and surgery.

While awaiting consultation, you can benefit from following simple tips;

  • antiperspirants
  • adequate hydration
  • avoiding too much sun/heat
