dear longlo,

how long are the symptoms?
any associated chest pain, shoulder pain or arm numbness?
did you have any investigation or consulted a doctor yet?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
The symptoms have been going on for approx. 15 mins. now. I do have some slight chest pain with no radiation, shoulder pain or numbness. I have not consulted a doctor yet.

dear longlo,

Thank you for the information,

The sudden onset of chest pain associated with increased heart rate of 140bpm may be related to cardiac cause.

The myocardial infarction or unstable angina may cause such pain with tachycardia.

You should have the relevant investigations done like ekg, 2d echo of heart after consulting your doctor/emergency.

The other causes like anxiety, costochondritis, pneumonia, injury may also cause such symptoms though the chances are less in your case.

Let me know if you have any doubt.

Thank you!
