How long does it take for methodone to get out of your system and feel better again?

For how long and for what purpose it was used?
Any kidney or liver problem?
Used for a little over 3 years, got it off the street. No liver or kidney problems.

Methadone is one of the opiod analgesic and it has got lot of affinity for the fat of body so takes some time to be eleminated from the body.
Its half life(Time taken for the half of the drug to be excreted ) is somewhere 8 to59 hrs with average of 22 hrs but again it is not fixed rather is different for different individuals depending upon there genetic makeup.
So it is not predictible that after how many days you will start feeling better ususlly it will be out in 8 to 10 days and also its not the drug rather its withdrawl of drug which causes more problem
