Thanks for the detailed info,

In fact there are many causes if headache and needs detailed history and evaluation.

1-Cluster headache is likely it occurs in cyclical pattern, occurs in bouts and sometimes the symptom free intervals are from weeks to months, fortunately it is not dangerous.

Eye is affetcted during the attacks with symptoms like excessive redness, tearing, and pain in eye as well. Most of the time it occurs at night and needs oxygen inhalation.

if repeated attacks occur, one shud have prophylactic drugs like some calcium channel blockers

2-Migraine headache is often one sided ,mostly associated with visual or auditory aura, and it worsened with light, noise,it is treated with sumitriptans and if occcurs repeatedly needs prophylactic measures with beta blocker drugs.

3-Other causes like stress headache seem to be unlikely.

I hope the info helps.
