Are there specific foods that can increase neutrophil levels

Are there specific foods that can increase neutrophil levels ?
Are you 16 years old or this question is been asked by an adult?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I am an adult asking the question because my 16yo nephew is the patient.
Dear jayson,

I had to ask that question because of just answer policy, sorry for inconvenience.

Chemotherapy most commonly leads to low white blood count(neutrophils) so it is mostly transient,if your nephew does not have any bleeding,no fever or his neutrophil count is not below 500 ,then he might not be requiring any medications like neulasta. There is no specific food which can increase the neutrophil count, eating healthy food, fruits and juices does help to boost the immunity.

His ANC count was 300 yesterday, two weeks have past without his chemo going to three. What are your thoughts if next week he remains under 500 ?
Thanks for this vital information.
I will advise that you discuss with your physician about prescribing him neulasta and if required prophylactic antibiotics as that is an indication for a person having <500 neurtophil count .
