Dear

Do you suffer from any other disease like arthritis etc... or any other disease?
Is there any swelling behind the knee?
Does the pain start from above and the travel down?
Are you having any cramps?

Thanks

Dear

Most likely it is indicative of pathology of the knee.
Probably you are having an incipient baker’s cyst that is causing the pain.
Another possibility is a nerve compression of a nerve behind the knee which will lead to such pain.

For the time being you may try Aleve in addition to Ibuprofen you have had and you can also try using capsaicin ointment application in the area.
Ice compresses will also help.

If the pain persists an evaluation by a doctor is called for.
