Hi! My stomach has been bloated and hurts when I push on it

Hi! My stomach has been bloated and hurts when I push on it when I am lying down. It also hurts when I take a deep breath while lying down. It is also tender and kind of hard when I push on it but only on the left side.

Yes, it does get worse after I eat. Better in the morning and worse at night.

Thanks for the answers.

It looks like a case of gastritis , that is acid peptic ulcer disease.The fact that the pain increases after food indicates an stomach ulcer.

These types of chronic ulcers will require treatment like prilosec or pareit for a period of atleast 4 weeks.Improvement in the symptoms will confirm the diagnosis.The medicines has to be taken atleast twice a day and before meals to be effective.

If you want a absolute a diagnosis immediately ,then you will have to do an endoscopy (gastroscopy) where they see the inside of the stomach with the help of a camera and is a out patient procedure.

The spices in the diet also have to be reduced and more water and milk will help reduce the acidity.
