Hello
Micardis belongs to a group called- angiotensin II receptor antagonists. This medication can lower your blood pressure and may increase some of the side effect.
Well, as she has only once doubled the dose, So it may not cause any serious side effect.
In case, if she again increase the dose ,it can cause- fast or slow heartbeat, dizziness.

She should use these tips to lower the blood pressure. These are-

-Avoid adding salt at the table
-Increase dietary fiber. Try to get 20-35 grams of fiber daily.
-Exercise regularly, remain away from stress . practice yoga and meditation.
-Limit caffeinated beverages
-drink 8 cups of water per day.
-You should not skip your blood pressure medication.

In case, if blood pressure is not controlled with your medications, please see doctor.
