How long does Lisinopril stay in your system. I have been off

This answer was rated:

How long does Lisinopril stay in your system. I have been off it for 5 days and my cough is much less but still exist.
Half-life is about 12 hours, so Lisinopril is basically out of your system in about 3 days. The cough is an irritant and will get better and can sometimes take 2 to 4 weeks to totally go away after stopping lisinopril - Also, switching to an ARB such as Micardis will NOT give you a cough. Take care.
