Resolved Question:

2 weeks ago I had my necrotic appendix removed by way of the regular open surgery and since it just fell away from the abdomen the colon had to be stretched together to close the opening and sutured...as I am an avid and competent golfer about how many weeks must I lay-off the sport in ordert to avoid compromising that closed up opening in the bottom of the colon?

just a brief follow-up..is the concern that the hole in the bottom of the colon will re-open with strenuous activity ? would that be deemed a hernia?
