Hello,

How long are you having this?

Did you have any treatment?

Did you have any other symptom or previous illness?

What is your age?

Thank you.

Tonight...could be all weekend. Have not had treatment. Feel good...but "anxious". Have a first appointment with Cardiologist Monday afternoon. Had excercise echocardiogram in 9/08 with no problems. Have shortness of breath occasionally when exerting, not sitting/resting. Age is 67.

p.s. I am 6'1" tall, weigh 185, am active, excercise regularly, have migraine headaches and take Imitrex generic for treatment.

Thank you for all the information,

The level considered to be a crisis is any level of 180 / 110 mm Hg.or above.

Below this level it will depend on the symptoms.

If you have any shortness of breath , headache , dizziness or chest pain you need to go to hospital.

You can check your blood pressure after an hour if you do not have any of the above symptoms.

Try to relax , as anxiety can increase the pressure.

I hope this information will help.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.
