Are you asking whether bones can regenerate after a fracture?

Or a normal bone?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
My husband says that bones completely regenerate themselves every 7 years and I believe they can regenerate after a fracture in that specific damaged area, but I don't believe they completely regenerate or renew after seven years. Basically he is saying every 7 years we have completely new bones. What is your advice to that?
This is an idea which has been there for a long time.

Your husband is basically right in that bone tissue is being continally eaten up (by cells called osteoclasts) and reformed (by cells called osteoblasts).

But whether each and every atom in the bone is actually replaced in 7 years is not confirmed.
