It is so amazing that was on a diet, lost about 26 lbs. and am currently on high blood pressure medicine, Verapemil and atenenol. I may have spelled it wrong, but my pressure usually is , while taking the meds, is 155 over 90. I'm 60 years old and I want to be healthy, of course. I take no other medication. The diet was HCG, I followed it and it really worked for me. Do you think I might be possible to get off the medicine for high blood pressure if I continue eating right and getting proper excercise? If so, how do I go about doing this?
Absolutely! I would have your doctor supervise this - and the first medicine I would take off is Verapamil. Then if blood pressure is still good, then take off the atenolol - but again do this all under your doctor's supervision. Take care.
