I have a low mpv count on my cbc 7.2, what does it mean? and is it cause for concern?
Hello, Just a few questions Is your mpv low or do you mean MCV? your hemoglobin is 7.2..is that correct?

cbc shows mpv 7.2 L range 7.4 - 10.4

Ok thank you very much for that clarification. MPV is a measure of the size of your platelets which helps in blood clotting. If your total platelet count is normal then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Be reassured that normal values vary slightly from person to person. Hope this helps!
