The inflammed node, and I'm not sure that's what it should be called. I think the doctors who examined me at the VA referred to it as an inflammed fat nodule as the fat under this arm is almost twice as under the other arm. It's definitely not anything to do with an infection or inflammed lymph node to be worried about they told me. They've done a CAT scan and it's not a tumor or cancer. The fact that it's moving away from my extremity leads me to believe my system is finally ready to try to eliminate it since it was unable to eliminate through my sweat glands it must find another route. It's more unsightly than threatening my health. Even the inflammation is mild and considerable pressure must be applied to feel any pain or discomfort. My concern was that it appeared to be breaking into smaller beads from a single marble sized lump that lay dormant for almost 10years then suddenly without any attention from me seemed to break into 3 smaller pea sized lumps that were closer to the surface under my arm an more tender to pressure than the original inflammation. As for the home remedy, I applied simple horseradish paste under my arm for at least 20min. I could feel the effects as the heat was centered directly on the lump closest to the surface of my skin For a few days after this the skin over this lump was red with heat but not painful and the other lumps seemed less significant. I decided to wait and see what happened before trying another treatment. When the redness of the pea sized area under my arm subsided the rash appeared above my breast near the area. It's been there for about a month. It is unsightly but it doesn't itch or seem to be spreading. It's not raised at all, if I put make-up over it you wouldn't know it was there at all. I thought it would "cool off" and go away on it's own but I'm growing impatient and believe it may need some help. I'm moving very cautiously with the home remedies as I'm very healthy otherwise and have confidence in my immune system but realize a little help might speed full elimination along. I've considered under-going a total detoxification treatment but since my overall health is fairly good, my first choice would be to find a topical treatment since this is how it all began in the first place. I'm confident that the horseradish was able to move the toxin from under my arm but now it's merely moved a few inches away in a flat rash instead of a lump. Either way my system is unable to tolerate this toxin whatever it is and I do believe I require topical assistance to ease it out of my body without forcing it into any of my vital systems. I have tried using Chapparal tea to the initial inflammation on my chest about two weeks after it spread. The little heat and itching there was subsided but the redness remains and doesn't seem to react positive or negative to anything from aloe vera, soaps, lotions, topical antibiotics, or any other regular topical application I might use elsewhere. The surface skin is normal and healthy but underneath the surface is apparently this toxin which my immune system rejects. It reminds me a lot of the rash I got from mango without the itching and the spreading. From pictures online, the shape of the rash looks like ringworm, bullseye, or lyme rash but without any of those symptoms or probable causes.
