You need to avoid putting weight on your spine, that will cause pain and can aggravate your injury.

You can try doing gentle exercises in a swimming pool and not too vigorous swimming, that will not put weight on your spine and prevent aggravation of your injury.

Please avoid lifting weights or running, as the constant impact / pressure on your lower spine can aggravate your injury.

Also, there is a risk of falling involved with running / jogging that can furhter aggravate your injury.

You can try exercising in a swimming pool and gentle swimming.
