2016 Mazda Miata MX5 2.0L - please see attached diagrams of MAF sensor and let me know the two IAT wires. Different from 2017 RF 2.0L. Thank you.

Hello

on the 5 wire Denso unit then the IAT input should be as the attached diagram

however if you're asking how to identify the IAT so you can fit one of the cheap 'tuning' devices that 'fool' the ECU into giving more power, then I wouldn't recommend it

they typically don't work

as the fuel mixture is already set correctly for maximum power by Mazda, all they do is make the engine run richer than it should and waste fuel

If you want more power then the money is best spent on a catback exhaust as this always works

The wire colors are Black/Blue, Black/Green, Black, Black/Red and Black/Green.....see attached photos please. The diagram you sent looks like a GM/Chevy diagram.

Looks like 2015 should be the same as the 2016.

Hello

OK looks like the pins for the IAT are Pins 1 & 2

if you look closely at the socket you should see a number 1 - 5 moulded into the connector either on the sensor or on the harness

May take a bit of time to see. Will let you know. Why wouldn't there be any info when there is for the 2017 RF?

understood
