2004 mazdaspeed miata only my right high beam doesnt work, and i changed the bulb and fuse
JA: Have you checked the bulbs and fuses?
Customer: Changed the bulb and fuse
JA: Are you fixing your Miata yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I changed the bulb and the fuse

Customer: The right highbeam doesnt work at all

where are you trying to read continuity to the center pin of the socket from?

I unplugged the high beam bulb to read continuity from there, and there is none

I used my multimeter to read if there was any ampage coming from it, my mistake

you need to check for dc power at the the center pin of the socket. when the lights on are.

use the side of the socket for a ground

I did, it reads 0. All the other ones read 15

ok. now go pull the hi beam relay and check for voltage there.

nevermind. it doesnt have one.

The other high beam reads 15

check the wiring at the connector for the light. especially the green wire and the white wire. make sure that they on in the connector all the way and dont pull out.

I pushed them in and it still didnt work made sure they didnt pull out, either

ok, you have a broken wire some where. you need to do a continuity test of the green wire from the plug to the fuse box.

Havent had the time to go in to check where the break is, but I will tomorrow. When I find it, what do I do? Just strip both sides and connect them and use some shrink wrap or electrical tape?
