Mazda3, 2004 2.0 litres -Idle speed too low, occasionaly

Customer Question

Mazda3, 2004 2.0 litres -Idle speed too low, occasionaly stop. I must keep the foot on the accelerator to keep the speed above 1000 rpm, at STOP light
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: traffic stop light
JA: Are you fixing your Mazda3 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I fixe it myself, but did'nt try yet. I suspect the gaz filter, the pressure pump, or something related to gaz. I'm not too familiar with electronic injection. That's why your advice and experience could tell me the most frequent cause for this problem.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: The engine has 78,000 Km
