My 2007 mazda rx8 will not accelerate past 15mph while driving. In park the rpms will not go any higher than 2000 and that is with the pedal to the floor.

Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help get your problem solved.

This is a common symptom of a clogged catalytic converter. You can completely remove front oxygen sensor from exhaust to relieve exhaust pressure, if that allows it to run better then you know the converter is clogged. Let me know if you have more questions or if there is anything else I can do to help. Thanks.
