Mazda 6 2005 stick shift , you can shift gears but it won't move, like it's not catching
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you checked the brake switch?
Customer: No but wife was driving, hit bid dip in road, drove it a 1/4 mile no problems went to start in morning and car will start push clutch in, stick in any gear and nothing happens when u release clutch
JA: Are you fixing your Mazda2 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes myself was fixing to drop transmission and replace bearing and clutch fork and clutch plate
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

yes...i happen to be helping more than're on the right track then sounds like the throw out bearing spring clip got shifted or came off. good luck
