Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Dealer said it Was the motor only.
Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

Ok do you have a volt meter?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
why what am I testing, can it be the sensors by chance
Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

It could be a wiring or sensor problem, you probably have codes in the liftgate module, and you will need a scan tool to get them. Did the dealer give you any codes?

Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

Have you checked the fuses?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Fuses are fine module is fine haven't looked at the sensors but how do you tell if they are good or bad
Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

You need a scan tool to tell if they are good or bad, if bad they will set a code.

Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

Disconnect both battery cables (positive and negative) and hold them together for 15 minutes. Then reconnect one at a time, positive first then negative. This should reset the system.

Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

Sometimes this will work if it needs to be reset.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I'll try that. All the codes are clear
Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

ok

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
no codes. Download the gate have to be reprogrammed or there any technical bulletins
Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

No there are no bulletins, I do not see a recalibration procedure in the service manual.

What else can I do
Expert:  Dan replied 3 months ago.

Unfortunately this is probably going to need the dealer. You need the dealer scan tool to diagnose.
