Its about my cx 9 cd problem, the radio works but not the cd
JA: Have you checked the fuses?
Customer: Not sure where the fuses are located
JA: Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: Radio works (FM and AM) but when I select cd there is no response
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Yes if I can

Customer: I have brought it to meachanic and have him check the fuses and fuses are ok
JA: Is there anything else the Mazda Mechanic should be aware of about your Mazda?
Customer: No just the cd problem

year 2008, this the 8th year I owned it
it's dash and multi cd

The CD will have the same Fuse as the Radio
IF the Radio works, then the CD likely needs Repaired or Replaced
Many times the arms & / or the Servo Gear bends or cracks
There is no "small parts" available
You will need to replace the complete CD Mechanism
Apprx $285.00 - 345.00 depending on part number & shop
Many times you can find the same Model Number Unit On-Line, E-Bay, etc for less than Repair
