Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

This could be a wiring issue but the most common cause would be the brake switch. The brake switch not only powers the brake lamps but the engine controller and ABS module both receive brake switch input. The ABS module needs to receive brake switch input for proper ABS and traction control operation. If it doesn't see the brake switch circuit closing but is seeing data that indicates you should have been braking then the ABS and traction control lights will come on.

It will take some electrical testing at the time the warning lights are on and brake lights are not working, but the most likely cause for this would be the brake switch.
