Customer Question

Hi Ron, Thank you for answering my question. However; I am asking a specific question. I am not prepared to do any testing on my car. I only want to know what failed parts would keep the fuel pump from pumping fuel, such as fuel pump relay. Please name
other parts on my 98 Mazda millennia 2.5 L which would cause the fuel pump to shut down.

Hell and thank you for you question,
The fuel pump is controlled by the ground switching signal from the PAM (computer) to the Fuel pump relay . If the PAM and or the relay have failed and or the circuit to them the pump will not run, the fuel pump could also have failed. With out proper testing there is no way to know which has failed.
