Hi. Does the engine crank over when you turn the key?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 1 year ago.
You could just have a faulty starter. If you have a test light, you could check to see if the starter is getting power.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have an appointment with Mazda this site is asking for money , I'm not comfortable with that.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I paid for the question nitially, now it's asking to pay for a phone call. Im not interested in a call
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 1 year ago.
It is not asking for that. You can request a phone call if you want. It may be asking if you want a phone call. Just say no.

Ok. The security light is blinking when the key is in. I also tried the transponder key as well with no luck.
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 1 year ago.
Oh ok. if the security light is blinking then the starter is not the problem. The problem is with the anti-theft. Have you tried all keys that you have for the vehicle?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 1 year ago.
If you tried all the keys then unfortunatly there is not much that can be done from home. A scan tool that can access the security system needs to be used. You can either have it towed to a dealer, or call a local lock smith. Most locksmiths these days have the equipment to check and create security keys.
