Hi Dan, On the bellows between the mass airflow sensor and the throttle body, there are 2 connections on the rear of the bellows an upper and a lower the upper connects just beyond egr valve can you tell me where the lower connects to?ken

Can you take some pictures?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
This is a pic of the bellows from the top you can see top hose coming off of it there is another connection just below it, that is the one I need an answer to. (where does it go)
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
Can you take a few more pictures? Are you referring to hose I circled in picture?

It sounds like you may be referring to the purge solenoid which is disconnected still, here is a picture.

no, just below the one I circled in this pic
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
And that is just 1 hose or it splits off? According to diagram that appears to be the PCV hose.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There is the upper hose which is circled and right below it is another, I would take a picture but camera can't quite catch the angle
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
I think I found it on diagram but cannot see where it leads. I'll open question up for someone else to help while I continue to look incase someone else knows without looking.

here is a pic that might help
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
What does top hose lead to? I do not think these two hoses are even on my diagrams.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Just beyond EGR
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
Do you know what component it actually connects to? The hoses are about the same size so I'd guess they are for the same system. But diagrams are not matching up to pictures which isn't making it easy. According to diagram there is a hose that comes from each valve cover to that area but I do not see anything else
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
Here is only other diagram I have and what your taking pictures of doesn't appear to look like my diagrams https://www.dropbox.com/s/t927lqyubqnwneb/intakempv.pdf?dl=0

Hooks to intake manifold behind the EGR
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
Ok, so it looks like above diagram I just sent? How long is other hose? According to above diagram it looks like it would lead somewhere under the intake, under throttle body.
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
Things that should have vacuum/intake connected are EGR control solenoid, purge solenoid, PCV, and both valve covers. Here is one other diagram I found https://www.dropbox.com/s/l43re0ci3fsp354/mpv.pdf?dl=0

These diagrams don't really help, do they
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
I agree. Question is still open incase someone else has some ideas. Next step I'd recommend is making sure all above mentioned components are connected.
