Can I use a 2004 Madza 6 2.3l motor in my 2005 Mazda 6? Any modifications needed?
Name isXXXXX goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back,

Both the same engine just make sure that on the top of the engine valve cover are plastic and not aluminium. and on the back side of the engine you see 2,3L marked .
Careful the engine has the COP and not a coil pack .

Need further assistance then please get back to me with the reply box below and not the poor or bad service .

My engine has a coil pack

Then make sure the 2005 has also the coil pack as the two are not the same .

I think the COP came at the end of 2005 or 6 .

The COP will not work, had this same issue about 5 weeks ago .

The guy with the motor said it will fit but won't
Start if I ise the 04 motor
Do they both have alu valve covers or plastic .

Should be the same .like i said i just did this and all worked okay .

The only thing i changed was the injectors as i know the originals where good ,

On the plastic manifold are two vacuum valves that control the manifold flaps make sure these are correctly fitted and routed as you will not have much power
