my madza 6 is burning too much gas i did oil change tune up and the engine light is on took it to auto zone to get checked centor and temparature cage what should i do someone said it is the gas fuel filter please help

66 Coolent thermostat condition- low operating temperature

 

Proberly cause:

661 low coolent level

662 open or shor circuit condition

663 faulty ect censor

Here is the diagnosis test for code P0661 and P0662. They are not related to the coolant or sensor.

 

Perform each diagnosis test to determine what is the root cause for your concern.

 

I have seen several faulty intake manifold runner control solenoids. (VIS solenoid)

If you cannot perform the diagnosis test that I gave you, you will have to take it to a Mazda dealer or shop to have it diagnosed.

If you want to replace the parts that are in question from the fault codes, then go to a Mazda dealer parts department, purchase them and install them yourself.

 

Here is a diagram of the solenoid location. They are called the VIS control solenoid and variable tumbler control solenoid. Replace both these solenoids and clear your codes.
