Drew,

I don't have a steering position sensor in my electric vehicle - can I wire pins on plug 3 to simulate a sensor. It wont run with just power and gnd. Does it need a data link?

Jesse

You will need to have the steering angle sensor as a input to activate the module which will control the pump.

You do not need the data link. That is to access the module information and retrieve codes.
