2004 Mazda 6: driver side door..electric windows..manually..door lock

Customer Question

I have a 2004 Mazda 6; the driver side door won't open. All the other doors open, electric windows work everywhere. I manually flip the door lock from the inside but the door remains locked. I insert the key from the outside, it turns but no impact on the door opening, the remote doesn't open it. The fuse is good. It is just like the door lack just for this door is permanently stuck on lock. I have tried discounting the battery, no help.

Welcome, have you looked at the interior shell at the door lock itself. To see if the rod is stuck or maybe just not attached do you or have you ever pulled the door panel off?
