Cardoctor74 :

Ok this is usually a fuel issue. Is the engine light on?

Customer:

no lights on wen driving oil light comes on for a min wen driving 5 or more miles at a time but goes off again

Cardoctor74 :

Ok how many miles on the car?Have you checked the oil sender and pressure for the light? Also has fuel pressure been checked when starting could be a weak fuel pump.

Customer:

61 thousand 200 miles had it in a garage today and they found no fault but obvs there is if i stall it i cant get it started for 5 maybe 10 mins same problem wen i turn it off then go back to it 10 mins later

Cardoctor74 :

Ok they need to have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up when this happens have they don that?Does the security light blink when it does not start .Most common is a fuel pressure issue they need to do this next.

Customer:

im not sure what they did they just said this can happen with these cars and they couldnt find a fault but should not be such a pain to start like it is i am still under warrenty but they cant really pay for the problem unless i can tell them what the problem not too sure about security light cant say i have noticed its the 1st mazda ive owned and dont no much about them other than having simular problems

Cardoctor74 :

Ok this is most likely a fuel issue. They need to check fuel pressure and the security system when this happens. Also contact Mazda corperate and tell them the issue and they will make sure the dealer fixes this problem. We have had fuel pump issues ,compression issues ,And even fuel injector issue. These need to be checked next and the vehicle tested and fixed correctly there is an issue this is not normal. Also contact Mazda corperate to make a complaint against this dealer .These are the next steps.Hoped this helped.Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated.
