Thank you, Ashok. Would you please explain so I can try to answer other questions using your example? Thank you!
Expert:  Ashok Kumar replied 1 year ago.
P(A U B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A ∩ B)
0.88 = 0.5+0.4- P(A ∩ B)
Or, P(A ∩ B)= 0.5+0.4 - 0.88 = 0.02
P(B/A) = P(A ∩ B)/P(A)
= 0.02/0.5
= 0.04

So, you treat it like an equation in Algebra, basically, adding a negative to the other side to balance out the probability?
Expert:  Ashok Kumar replied 1 year ago.
Actually it is conditional probability problem. We have find out P(A∩B)to determine P(B/A) and this is what I have done.
