Thanks for requesting me!Suppose you want to add two fractions5/6 and 1/8first find the Lowest common denominator that is LCM of 6 and 86 = 2 x 38 = 2 x 2 x 2LCM of 6 and 8 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 = 245/6 + 1/8Now make the denominator 24 for both fractions5/6 = 20/241/8 = 3/245/6 + 1/8= 20/24 + 3/24now just add the numerators and keep the denominator 24= (20+3)/24= 23/24Answer: 23/24I hope it will help.
