I have a 2003 Seadoo GTX 155 non SC PWC. I put a new engine in it but I cant get rid of P0236 Knock Sensor fault

Hi Brett,

The knock sensor may be faulty.

Remove the sensor and test the resistance across it - it should be around 5Mohms.

If it is not, then the sensor is faulty and will need to be replaced.

Hi, just checking in on your question, do you need any further assistance?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I had already put a new knock sensor on and that did not change anything. Further, I also ran it with the knock sensor off the engine and in my hand which would make it next to impossible to pick up a knock...
