I have an ST 70 depth finder, was working fine, then froze

I have an ST 70 depth finder, was working fine, then froze at a specific depth and begin to flash. A short time later it changed depth and began to flash again. It now shows The screen but, displays no depth. Transducer is clean.

I think the thermal switch might have kicked off. It was a very hot day and the Motor had been running. I did a reboot of the system later in thie evening and at this time is appears to be operating properly.
