Do you often remove the head unit and the plugs for the wires?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Not very often the last time was about 2 months ago
Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.
Ok, lets start with then, remove the transducer plug from the back of the unit and look for any bent, broken pins on either side of the plug. While it is apart, make sure that all connections are clean as well.

Ok, can you access the test screen on the unit and make sure that the transducer is being recognized. If it is not, you have a bad transducer.
